Website shortcut like application in your desktop



Want to create a shortcut of any website in your desktop? This shortcut will be like an application.You can double click on it. It will redirect you to your browser.You can trick your friends for this one!

1.First right click on your desktop.
2.Create new shortcut.

3.Now on the shortcut field type the web address you want to have a desktop shortcut. (ex. http://yahoo.com).
4.Now click ok .Then name your shortcut as the name of the site.(ex.Yahoo!,Facebook,Twitter,etc.).
5.Click ok. Now you got your shortcut.But you got wrong icon.
6.Right click on your shortcut and click on change icon button.
7.Now browse for the right icon you wanted.
 (To download icon for your shortcut go to http://www.findicons.com)
Your icon should be a .ico file.
8.Now click ok.
9.Apply the changes and congratulation you got your website shortcut right away in your desktop!
